breakfast: eggs with organic canned peas and water

snack: contraband: a tiny wedge of Entenmann's cheese danish. We suffered for easily 2 hours after the fact with rather extreme oppositional behavior.

snack: rice crackers (veggie flavored)

lunch: PB&J

snack: coconut milk-based yogurt (raspberry flavor)

snack: organic pear wedges

dinner: leftover pork with apples, onions & potatoes. Shamefully, that was the whole thing. :(

breakfast: eggs with peas

snack: rice crackers

lunch: PB&J (we were on the run & it was portable)

snack: organic apple wedges

snack: banana

dinner: pork loin (I'm so trying to get away from pork altogether, but that means finishing what we have) pot roasted in apples, potatoes and onions with a side of canned organic green beans.

dessert: Matthew got 1 Lindt Dark Chocolate (black wrapper) truffle which was--shockingly--safe. :)

It's about to get ugly...

So, we had our last delivery of produce as POD (Point of Delivery) coordinators for the organic coop. That means we will no longer have a huge discount on organic produce. It's a little disturbing and concerning. I'm handing over an unfull group which means there's no opportunity to divide shares to earn a discount, either.

The thing is, since we had dropped down to one group, it hadn't been enough food anyway. It was okay during the summer when we had the CSA share on top of the coop but now it's winter. Now I need two shares and I have to pay for both of them when money's already tight.

Blech.

Double blech.
